THIRD DAY AND THE GENERAL REPORT OF THE TRAINING

The third day of our training we did much practical on the internet research using the assignment given from the facilitator the previous day.Also we covered with the concept of plagiarism,that it is the act of fraud,during researching through the internet plagiarism is not allowed.the sources should be shown to any information.

Also I learned some guidelines or criteria the journalist has to follow before finding any information from the internet,for example as a journalist you should have an idea of what you want to investigate or research on, also the searching words should be in a correct way and avoid plagiarism of information.

I liked the topic taught because a journalist should know how to use the internet with the knowledge of knowing to use different websites according to the information he/she want.

Also the easiest way of transmitting some information especially to journalist is to open your own blog so that people can easy read or get to know what is going on nationally even globally by visiting it.

Generally the training is very useful to us, as I come to realize most journalist lack some skills on how to use the internet for the purpose of their daily activities,because sometime you can get irrelevant information because of the wrong citation or because of the wrong choosing the right searching words.Also will help my students on how to write and produce programs without plagiarism.
